Riga-based geospatial analytics startup Roibox has undergone a significant transformation through its acquisition by Jakala, a prominent marketing technology solutions company operating under Ardian Buyout. This acquisition is a significant move for Jakala as it aligns with its goal of becoming a leading all-in-one marketing company by expanding its technological capabilities and services. Roibox’s core offering is a SaaS platform focused on location data analytics, which helps improve advertising campaign performance and marketing funnel diagnostics. With this acquisition, Jakala aims to leverage geographical data as a key element in strategic media planning and brand communication, enhancing its position in the marketing services industry.

Roibox is a geospatial analytics company specializing in digital advertising. The software platform focuses on location data analytics, enabling businesses and marketers to diagnose and optimize their advertising campaigns. Roibox conducts geo-diagnostics of marketing funnels, rectifies discrepancies, and boosts campaign performance by up to 30% using their Grid Technology™, which stores a wealth of data per square kilometer, including first-party, campaign, and socio-economic data. This platform is seamlessly integrated with advertising giants like Google Ads and Meta, allowing advertisers to leverage geographical insights for more effective and data-driven advertising strategies, ultimately enhancing campaign outcomes and efficiency.

“The Roibox acquisition will give us the opportunity to offer a unique solution aiming at adding geographical differences as a key variable into the strategic decisions of media planning and communication for a brand. We’re really excited to think about what we can achieve in the next years with the talented Roibox team now on board,” said Amedeo Guffanti, Global Head of Digital and Media business line and Managing Director of Jakala.

Jēkabs Endziņš, CEO Of Roibox, added: “At Roibox, our mission is to help businesses around the world adopt and utilise geospatial analytics in their marketing, enabling greater marketing transparency and better return on investment. We share Jakala’s excitement about the growth of geospatial analytics, and we’re delighted to join forces with a group of people who not only share our passion for driving game-changing innovation in marketing services but will also help bring this technology to a far wider audience”.
