A 250k euro funding for Memeoirs

Memeoirs, an Italian based provider of a platform that allows users to create books out of e-mail and social network conversations, raised 250k euro in funding. Investment was made by Pozzoni Group, an Italian printing company, so that now the company directly qualifies to receive an additional up to 175k euro equity free matching funding from Provincia Autonoma di Trento.
The company will use the funds to continue to develop its platform and expand its offering globally. Led by Paulo Pinto, Giacomo Miceli and Fred Rocha, has Luca Canepa as its chairman, Canepa is general secretary ofi IBAN (Italian Business Angel Network) and supported the company in the deal with Pozzoni Group. Memeoirs allows users to create a book from services such as GMail and Facebook by choosing which messages to include, customizing the look, paperback or hardcover (pdf and epub to come). The company’s proprietary technology filters out redundant content, manages the process of printing and shipping books to customers, globally.
