Ryan Stokes joins Harding Green

Ryan Stokes

Ryan Stokes, a former partner on the Knight Frank sports desk and most recently a director at UK Sotheby’s International Realty, has joined Harding Green.

Reflecting on his decision to join the London-based estate agency, Stokes said: “For the last ten years I have watched the broker model mature and develop within London.

“Having had several conversations over that period with different companies, Harding Green right now feels like the perfect platform for experienced, career agents. Their existing network of agents, many of whom I have worked with in the past, gives me great confidence that I’m joining the right place.”

Nick Carter, CEO, added: “With nearly 15 years of best-in-class experience, including several years as a partner on one of the industry’s leading sports desks, Ryan has established himself as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth sports professionals and discerning clients. His specialised knowledge and exceptional track record will be invaluable to our operations at Harding Green.”

James Purdon

The Savills Private Office has strengthened its real estate offering with the announcement that James Purdon and Edward Price have expanded their existing roles and are now part of the Savills Private Office team.

James Purdon, a director within Savills West End investment division, joined Savills in 2013. A qualified Chartered Surveyor, he specialises in the central London property market.

Edward Price

Based in Dubai, Edward Price heads the Investment Agency team in the Middle East. Working across the GCC region, he advises clients on their domestic and global real estate investment strategies.

Jonathan Hewlett, chairman, Savills Private Office, said, “The Private Office prides itself on the ability to offer best-in-class cross-border advice and expertise across the full spectrum of global real estate.

“It is great to have James and Edward as part of the team which will further enable us to assist our private clients both in London and the Middle East. As well as providing commercial opportunities to our client base on a regular basis.”

PEXA names new UK chief technology officer

Nitesh Thadani

PEXA has announced the appointment of Nitesh Thadani as its UK chief technology officer to spearhead the development and expansion of its technology platform.

Thadani brings over 20 years of experience in fintech and SaaS businesses, along with a deep understanding of the UK mortgage market. He has previously worked with major UK lenders such as NatWest and Nationwide, focusing on system integrations and advancing digitisation in the property transaction process.

Most recently, Thadani served as interim director of engineering at Mojo Mortgages. His career also includes roles at global organisations such as ThoughtWorks, Barclays, McKinsey, British Gas, Smartr365, and consulting projects across the UK, US, India, and Australia.

Thadani will report directly to Joe Pepper, PEXA’s UK chief executive officer, as part of the company’s UK executive leadership team. He is set to join the business at the end of January.

Pepper said|: “Nitesh will play a critical role in our ongoing success this year. He will lead on our technology roadmap as we continue to onboard and integrate lenders to the PEXA platform, develop our proposition, and work towards rolling out our Sale and Purchase offering. His expertise, skillset and track record of leading data-driven transformation will be invaluable.”

Thadani added: “From open banking to embedded finance, I have had the privilege of witnessing the transformative impact technology can have for businesses and the sectors they operate in first hand, and PEXA has taken great strides to unlock its potential for the mortgage market. I am excited to play a role in delivering the technology that will enable it to streamline the UK’s remortgaging and homebuying process.”
