Warrant Hub (part of Milan-listed Tinexta Group), a digital consultancy firm, said it acquired 9.1% of Opstart, an Italian crowdinvesting platform with which signed a strategic and commercial partnership (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Giovanpaolo Airoldi (ceo and 21.29% owner) and Alessandro Arioldi (cto – 17.33%) founded Opstart in 2015. The company also belongs to Diego Zanchi (17.33%), Andrea Cantù (17.33%) and PMI Top (6.42%).
Prestatech (fka Prestacap), a fintech data platform for risk management, attracted 4 million euros from lead investor CDP Venture Capital, Alchimia and Vantage 20 (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Christian Nothacker, Luca Terragni, Lorenzo Giusti (founders) and Massimiliano Mastalia are the owners of Prestatech
Bonsai Ventures, an investor in early-stage startups, poured 0.25 million euros in eWibe, an Italian trading platform for high-end wines (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Further business angels will invest through hybrid instruments in eWibe which will invest the raised proceeds in its organic development. Edoardo Maria Lamacchia founded eWibe in 2022.
Alia Therapeutics, a genoma editing startup that Antonio Casini, Anna Cereseto and Gianluca Petris founded in 2018, launched a three-tranched 4.5 million euros capital increase on the ground of a pre-money value of 5.2 million (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Banca Profilo will pour 0.5 million in Alia Therapeutics through a club deal. Alia also attracted one million from Indaco Venture Partners and 1.5 million from BiovelocITA.
