Italian venture capitalĀ 360 Capital, its partners and other investors launched Paris-listed SpacĀ 360 Disruptech EU (see here a previous post byĀ BeBeez). 360 Disruptech EU aims to raise 250 million euros through the sale of 25 million shares and warrants at 10 euros each. Four warrants will allow getting one share once carried on the business combination by two years since the launch of the Spac that will target European tech companies with an equity value of 1 – 4 billion.Ā Fausto Boni, Nader SabbaghianĀ andĀ FranƧois Tison at the moment own 60% of the Spac, 360 Capital has 20%, while the remaining 20% stake belongs to the partners of Clipperton Finance,Ā CĆ©line Lazorthes, Rodolphe Carle, Carlalberto Guglielminotti, andĀ Marco Pescarmona. Sources said toĀ BeBeez, that the Spacās promoters will invest more than 6.5 million for a 3% of the vehicle post-raising.
LIFTT, a venture capital thatĀ Turin Polytechnic UniversityĀ andĀ Compagnia di San PaoloĀ launched throughĀ Fondazione Links, closed a capital increase of 20.9 million euros (3 million fromĀ Fondazione San PaoloĀ and 2 million fromĀ Fondazione CRT) (see here a previous post byĀ BeBeez).Ā Giovanni TesoriereĀ andĀ Stefano BuonoĀ are the ceo and chairman of LIFTT, whose 2020-2024 business plan set a 90 million target for direct investments and subsequent co-investments of 450 million.
Fondazione Enpaia, the welfare institution for the workers in the agricultural sector, invested 15 million euros inĀ LVenture, EurekaĀ and Avm Gestioni Cysero-Kilometro RossoĀ (see here a previous post byĀ BeBeez).Ā Enpaia previously poured resources inĀ VertisĀ andĀ Mito Progress Tech.
In 2020, Milan-listedĀ Digital Magics invested in 15 new startups (9 through acceleration programmes), for a portfolio of 73 companies (see here a previous post byĀ BeBeez). Digital Magics has a turnover of 2.4 million euros (-11.5% yoy), an ebitda of minus 0.265 million (minus 0.303 million), and net losses of 2.5 million (2.3 million).
Venice LightYear (Vly), the spv thatĀ Infinityhub, a green energy company, raised more than 57,000 euros, above the 50,000 target, through an equity crowdfunding onĀ CrowdFundMe, for refurbishing the light systems ofĀ San Servolo, an island of Venice area da (see here a previous post byĀ BeBeez).Ā The projectās value is of 0.132 million euros. Global Tech Ventures (GTV)Ā raised more than 3.77 million euros through an equity crowdfunding campaign on Milan-listed portalĀ CrowdFundMe (see here a previous post byĀ BeBeez). GTV set a fundraising target of 0.25 ā 3 million on the ground of a pre-money value of 4.25 million and an investment ticket of 10,000 euros.
Pantarei, the owner of the digital native fashion brandĀ Lirecento, will launch an equity crowdfunding onĀ Mamacrowd on 8 April, Thursday (see here a previous post byĀ BeBeez).Ā The company aims to raise 0.3 ā 0.6 million euros on the ground of a pre-money value of 4 million. In October 2019, Lirecento raised 1.2 million from Frankfurt-listedĀ Rocket Internet.
Jojolly, an Italian startup forĀ Ho.Re.Ca staffing, raised 100k euros from Fondazione Social Venture Giordano dellāAmore (GDA), the impact investing unit ofĀ Fondazione CariploĀ which alread invested 6 million (See here aĀ previous post byĀ BeBeez).Ā Mattia Ferretti De LucaĀ founded Jojolly in 2019.
Alfi, a company of the Italian entrepreneutĀ Nerio Alessandri, invested 200k euros for acquiring a 5.6% of Doing 4, the club deal vehicle that will invest in Israeliās scaleup medical-deeptechĀ Memic Innovative Surgery (MIS) (see here a previous post byĀ BeBeez).Ā Gemma, Lomafin Sicuritalia, Excalibur, andĀ GierreĀ also invested in Doing 4.Ā Nir ShvalbĀ andĀ Vito VishnepolskyĀ founded MIS in 2012. Since 2014, the company raised 31.8 million US Dollars.
