Head of Ardian Real Estate‘s activities in South Europe will be Rodolfo Petrosino, MF Milano Finanza writes today, adding that Mr. Petrosino will jointjust after the Summer the team headed by Bertrand Julien-Laferriere, former top manager at Accor, Club Med, Unibail-Rodamco, and by head of the investment committee Olivier Piani (ex Allianz Real Estate) (download here the press release).
Mr. Petrosino is today a managing director at Davide Bizzi & Partners in the US. The company is wellknown in Italy as it is working at a big real estate development project in Sesto san Giovanni (Milan). Mr, Petrosino used to be managing director at Idea Fimit sgr and Pirelli Re.
Ardian had announced its entry in the real estate sector last September (download here the press release) and it is now in fundraising for its first fund with a 700 million euros target. The first investments will be in commercial real estate in France, Germany and Italy,
Ardian Real Estate is the fifth investment pillar for the group which is already active with Ardian Direct Investment (Mid-Cap, Expansion, Growth e Co-Investment) funds, Ardian Private Debt funds, Ardian Fund of Funds and Ardian Infrastructure funds.
