Faceit, a growing competitive gaming platform founded inĀ 2012 in London by ItaliansĀ Niccolo Maisto, Alessandro AvalloneandĀ Michele Attisani,Ā announced a 15 million dollars funding round un round by ventur capital fundsĀ (seeĀ here the press release).
Investors areĀ Anthos Capital,Ā Index Ventures Ā andĀ United Ventures, with tha latter who was already a shareholder in Faceit capital as it had invested 2 million dollars in a previous funding round last June (seeĀ here a previous post by Ā BeBeez).
The new cash will enable Faceit to grow its team and continue to build out its technology and platform, which currently serves hundreds of tournament organizers and over 3 million users. Faceit also opened a Los Angeles office in January this year, establishing a North American presence to further strengthen relationships with U.S.-based developers, publishers, and other partners.
