Italian venture capital firmĀ United Ventures led a 2 million dollars investment round in Faceit, a British growing competitive gaming platform founded inĀ 2012 by ItaliansĀ Niccolo Maisto, Alessandro Avallone andĀ Michele Attisani (seeĀ here the press release).
Faceit counts 1.5 million registred users, 2 million unique users per month and a total of 5 million game sessions per month. The platformĀ offers players structured competitions such as online tournaments as well as daily, weekly and monthly leagues.Ā In addition to regular gaming sessions, the FACEIT Media division produces some of the most viewed eSports events in the world, reaching over 2 million viewers per month and gathering over 500,000 followers on Twitch.tv
