Italy’s LOVETheSIGNĀ raised just over 4 million dollars in Series A funding, led by United Ventures, in addition to participation from a number of unnamed private investors from the Italian fashion and design industry.This is the second round led by Unitd Ventures after the one in July 2013 when the italian venture capital fund invested 750k euros and additional 250k euros were invested byĀ Novus Ventures and some members of theĀ Barberis Canonico familyĀ (see here the press release).
The company sells online Ā āItalian styleā design furniture and other homewear, both in the form of a permanent selection and via weekly flash sales.Ā Founded in 2012 by Laura Angius, Vincenzo CannataĀ eĀ Simone Panfilo, all former manger at the e-commerceĀ giant Privalia,Ā LOVEThESIGN will use the new equity to strenghten its presence in italy and Europe and to launch its activity in the US.
