PrivateGriffe, an internet web marketplace where people may buy and sell second hand items by fashion brands, secured its second financing round in a year.
Founded by ceo Leonardo Cucchiarini, Private Griffe received a total investment of 2.7 million euros by Ad4Ventures (1.1 millions), Italian tv broadcasting group Mediaset’s corporate venture capital; and by a group of private investors (1.6 millions) identified by Italian private bankĀ Ā Banca Esperia (jointly controlled byĀ Mediobanca and Mediolanum banks).
Some months ago Private Griffe received an investment of other 1.2 millions by Ā Vam InvestmentsĀ and a group of private investors identified by Banca Esperia as well.
All the new investors are now partenrs of seed investor AngeLab, a venture capital vehicle founded byĀ Angelo Moratti, which supported the start up of the company with a 12% stake in the capital.
